Open Access Policy
Open Access Policy
Golden Ratio is committed to providing immediate and unrestricted access to its published scholarly content. All articles published by Golden Ratio are made freely available online in their complete form without subscription, access fees, or registration requirements for readers.
Readers may access, read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full text of published articles. The reuse and adaptation of published content are governed by the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0) and are subject to its applicable attribution and ShareAlike requirements.
Golden Ratio does not impose an embargo period on access to its published scholarly articles. The journal supports the broad dissemination and responsible reuse of scholarly knowledge by making research openly available to the academic community and the public.
This Open Access Policy operates together with Golden Ratio's Copyright and Licensing Policy, which defines copyright ownership, publication rights, licensing conditions, and the treatment of third-party materials.
Digital Preservation and Archiving
Golden Ratio Journal is committed to the long-term preservation, integrity, and accessibility of its published scholarly content. The journal strives to ensure that its publications remain accessible to researchers, academics, and the wider scholarly community over the long term.
The journal's digital preservation arrangements include the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), where applicable and subject to the journal's active participation in these services.
These digital preservation services are designed to safeguard scholarly content against data loss, technical failures, and disruptions to the journal's primary publishing platform. Through these preservation mechanisms, Golden Ratio Journal aims to support the long-term availability, integrity, and recoverability of its published research.
Author Self-Archiving and Repository Policy
Golden Ratio Journal supports the dissemination and long-term accessibility of scholarly research through author self-archiving. Authors are permitted to deposit the following versions of their articles in institutional repositories, subject repositories, or other repositories of their choice:
-
Preprint (Submitted Version): The manuscript version submitted to the journal before peer review.
-
Author's Accepted Manuscript (AAM): The version incorporating revisions accepted for publication following peer review, before the publisher's final formatting and typesetting.
-
Published Article (Version of Record): The final, officially published version of the article.
Authors may deposit these versions without an embargo period, subject to applicable copyright and licensing terms.
When depositing the Published Article (Version of Record), authors should acknowledge the original publication in Golden Ratio Journal and provide the article's Digital Object Identifier (DOI), where available, or a direct link to the article's official webpage.
This policy is intended to promote open scholarly communication, increase the visibility and discoverability of published research, and facilitate broader access to academic knowledge.
