Aims and Scope

The Golden Ratio of Data in Summary (GRDIS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access multidisciplinary journal dedicated to advancing research through the generation, analysis, interpretation, documentation, and scholarly presentation of research data and evidence. The journal provides a platform for original research that transforms systematically collected or derived data into meaningful scientific knowledge and supports the development, validation, and communication of research findings across disciplines.

GRDIS welcomes quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, experimental, observational, computational, and evidence-based research from diverse areas of academic inquiry. The journal particularly values studies in which research data, empirical evidence, analytical procedures, or documented research materials constitute a substantive part of the scholarly contribution.

Scope of Research

GRDIS welcomes original research and data-oriented studies addressing, but not limited to:

  • Accounting, Finance, Management, and Business, including financial reporting, accounting, auditing, taxation, corporate finance, human resource management, strategic management, entrepreneurship, innovation, organizational behaviour, and digital business;

  • Economics and Public Policy, including development economics, international economics, environmental economics, public finance, economic policy, and applied economic analysis;

  • Computer Science, Information Systems, and Data Science, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data analytics, software engineering, cybersecurity, information systems, Internet of Things, computational methods, and emerging technologies;

  • Education and Linguistics, including educational technology, pedagogy, assessment, curriculum, language studies, discourse, sociolinguistics, language acquisition, and computational linguistics;

  • Engineering, Mathematics, and Statistics, including engineering applications, mathematical modelling, optimization, statistical modelling, probability, computational mathematics, data analytics, and applied statistics;

  • Health and Medical Sciences, including clinical and public health research, epidemiology, nursing, biomedical sciences, pharmacology, nutrition, healthcare management, and related fields;

  • Law, Politics, Public Administration, and Social Sciences, including legal studies, governance, public policy, political studies, international relations, sociology, anthropology, communication, demography, psychology, and related areas.

The journal welcomes research employing appropriate and rigorous analytical approaches, including statistical analysis, econometric modelling, structural equation modelling, experimental and quasi-experimental methods, qualitative analysis, computational methods, machine learning, bibliometric analysis, and systematic evidence synthesis.

GRDIS particularly encourages submissions that provide well-documented research data, transparent analytical procedures, reproducible evidence, meaningful empirical findings, validated measurements, or substantive insights derived from systematically collected or generated data.

The journal does not seek datasets or descriptive information merely for archival purposes. Submissions should demonstrate clear scientific provenance, methodological rigor, appropriate data quality or validation procedures, ethical and legal compliance, and a meaningful contribution to the advancement of knowledge.
