Abstract

Grounded in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA), this quantitative study (N=94) examines the drivers of QRIS adoption among undergraduates at Universitas Muhammadiyah Karanganyar. Multiple linear regression reveals that perceived security and convenience significantly increase usage intention (F=17.476,p<0.001), jointly explaining 27.8% of the variance. Crucially, perceived security serves as the dominant predictor (t=3.816), highlighting that while functional utility initiates user engagement, psychological reassurance regarding financial data protection remains the fundamental prerequisite for sustained digital payment acceptance.
